My grandson and I were great lovers of all of Steve and Terry's work, and my grandson still has Steve's obituary in his special place. Everytime he looks at it, or the show comes on now, he has to change the T.V. or put the paper away cause he still cries. What a remarkable man Steve was. I know he will be truly missed by thousands and thousands of people, and we are just two of them. The Crocodile Hunter... My hero... ************ To the man who I worked hard to get a chance to even see you, to work with you, to laugh with you... Whom I will never meet, never work with, never laugh with...The Lost Dream. All of my memorable Life, I have watched you on TV, staring whole-hearted into your face as you would risk Life and Limb saving the animals you so loved. You would take a gnarly bite to the leg to save Wes, who also got bit in the leg, and then as soon as you got out of the hospital, you would jump back in the water... It is truely a gift that you went out doing the one thing on this Earth you did best: Educating the people and saving the animals you, and I, love. I have strived to help you in your goal, often risking my own life to save animals who would rather eat me and kill me for distrubing their territory, and doing my best to educate people: That snakes are not evil monsters wanting to eat us, that sharks are not surfing the oceans looking for the surfers to munch, and that Alligators are not waiting in the shallows for little 6-year-old girls to run up so they can eat them...Hopefully one day we will succeed... I have aspired to be as you are: To dedicate my life to save animals, to serve the world in educating people, to protect those who need protection, to teach those who need to be taught, to serve this who need service. Though you are no longer here with us, fighting along side of us, bleeding along of us, you will forever be by our side, and you will forever be within My Heart I send my deepest and most hearfelt condolences to Terri, Bindi, and Bob, Jr., his father Robert, Wes, Kelsie, the entire Australia Zoo team, and all of us out there how fight this battle saving animals worldwide, who have just lost the most heroic and most charismic man we will ever know, our greatest Wildlife Warrior, and our Best Mate. Hooroo, mate, and remember.... We will miss you   Tammie, Southampton Uk 9:33 am on Wednesday, September 27th 2006 my heart broke when i ehard the news, australian wildlife has lost their best friend and my heart goes our to all the animals, everyone at the zoo adn espesially Terri, Bindi, Bob and Bob. it's hard to believe there is no mors steve but his worka dn memories will live on and we are so lucky to have so many of his exciting adventures captured on film, may he rest in peace reunited with so many of his animals, sui and his mum. I LOVE YOU STEVE!!!

None of them were poisonous. I learn from him how to check the books before you touch a snake, that way you know what your going in on. Thanks to Steve and his family I now love Croc's as well as the other animals that live with us in this world. I'm glad he became who he was mean't to be. The wild life warrior of all time. He was a great father and husband and even when ignorant and jealous people attacked him he still kept doing as much as he could to help the environment. He is one of the best people who has ever lived, he really contributed to the world instead of just lazily going through the motions.
